Tomorrow Argentina plays Nigeria (group b) in their first game and the third game overall of the World Cup 2010 South Africa.

Ole ole ole ole – my team did not make it, and I am here living in Argentina, and so I will be singing for the Argentines with all my heart.
At 0900 this morning the 2010 World Cup opens with all the pomp and ceremony that the Africans can muster and the hosts South Africa meet Mexico in the first match and I am so excited, sorry, I have been waiting for this for many months.
If you too love the great game introduced to Argentina in the 1850s by British train and dockworkers, then you are in for a treat.
Argentina will be football crazy until the Argentines lift that golden trophy into the sky and if they don’t, well, Maradona should consider self-imposed exile, although he should probably give England a miss, and doom and gloom will cover Buenos Aires city for a while.
Where to see the World Cup 2010 Buenos Aires:
Outdoors

- Plaza San Martin
