Esquel

This city stands out for being the most important tourist center of the province. It is located on Chubut´s mountain range over a beautiful mountain valley on Esquel riverside, surrounded by Mount Zeta, Mount 21, Mount La Cruz and Mount Nahuel Pan. This particular location makes the town looks like an amphitheatre which holds millenarian trees, crystal water rivers and numerous water mirrors streams protected by thick wood.

Visitors can enjoy the city during the whole year. On winter the activities are concentrated on La Hoya skiing tracks and on summer the best attractions is Los Alerces National Park with numerous of millenarian trees.

Esquel has a great tourist infrastructure that offers visitors the opportunity of two different types of activities: excursions and adventure tourism, which can be done both by themselves of with a tourist guide.

The commercial activity is mainly dedicated to clothing and equipment for the different activities, such as sport fishing, skiing, mountaineering, mountain biking, etc. Regional products also provide wealth to the city. Basically they are made be aboriginal's descendants and are the most important ones are textiles, and gastronomic delights.

Due it is the most important tourist center in Chubut, Esquel holds high hierarchy hotels, residences, restaurants, tea houses, cafeterias, casino and discos which together with the amazing landscapes, make the cite an unforgettable place for those who visited it.
