This city stands on the Uruguay riverside. Its landscapes present gentle slopes and wooded streets that reflect the peace and tranquility of a small town.
It is also known as The Paradise City due its natural beauties that have attracted tourists from decades, turning the city into the tourism provincial capital.
It was founded on April the 12 th of 1863 by General Justo José de Urquiza, who was the first constitutional president of the country.

This last activity characterized the region and for that fact during the first fortnight of February, the city celebrates The Handicraft Provincial Festivity.
As long as economy and communications are concern, this city is very relevant due its proximity to the General Artigas International Bridge that joins Argentina with Uruguay.

Gualeguaychu
This city full of amuse was founded on 1783 and its economical important for the region due it possesses a port and an industrial park.
As Corrientes, Gualeguaychu is considered to be one of the Carnival Celebration Centers of the country, displaying a Corsodromo with capacity for 35.000 spectators. However its tourist attractions are quite varied, this one is considered to be the main one.
This city is perfect to find relax, peace, security and beauty all together on a wonderful scenario, framed by water mirrors, thick woods and warm rivers that offer a great opportunity to practice water sport, sport fishing and swimming.
