San Rafael de Mendoza.

It is known as the second important city in the province. It was founded on 1805 when Viceroy Sobremonte set up San Rafael 's fort on the Atuel and Diamante River 's confluence. On 1810 the First Council established movement of the place to 25 de Mayo, a colony full of Swedish, Italian and French, and there it was named as San Rafael.
